Lynn Kuo is a highly accomplished violinist with extensive experience as the Assistant Concertmaster of the National Ballet of Canada Orchestra since 2000, where Lynn also serves as Guest and step-up Concertmaster. In addition to their role at the National Ballet, Kuo has contributed as an extra musician for the Canadian Opera Company and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and has performed as a concert violinist internationally across various platforms, including solo, chamber, and large ensemble works. Kuo's repertoire spans from Baroque to contemporary music, featuring numerous world premieres by Canadian and European composers. As an educator, Kuo has shared expertise through private lessons, masterclasses, and as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Violin at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Notable past collaborations include being a violinist with the Dark by Five Ensemble and serving as Chef de l'ensemble Les AMIS. Kuo holds a Doctoral of Musical Arts and multiple degrees in Violin Performance from the University of Toronto.
