Valerie Yurk is an accomplished journalist with a focus on transportation, infrastructure, energy, and environmental reporting. Currently serving as a Transportation and Infrastructure Reporter at CQ and Roll Call since July 2022, Valerie previously held the position of Energy and Environment Reporter at CQ Legal. Prior experience includes working as a Legislative Reporter at POLITICO and a Reporting Fellow at E&E News. Valerie has also contributed as an Environment Reporting Intern at The Guardian and as an intern at the National Press Foundation, along with an editorial internship at Transitions Online. Valerie Yurk earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from The George Washington University in 2020.
