Krishna Bhakta has worked in various roles in the medical and educational fields since 2012. Krishna started as an Assistant Manager at Super 8 in 2012, then went on to become an Intern at the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) - HIV/AIDS Minority AIDS Program (MAP) in 2018. In 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Life Story Lab at the University of Florida and continued to work there in 2017 as a Teaching Assistant for Animal Sciences Lab, Clinical Research Assistant for Pediatric Behavioral Health Lab, and Laboratory Assistant for the Department of Medicinal Chemistry. In 2019, they were a Teaching Assistant for Fundamentals of Human Nutrition at the University of Florida, as well as a Medical Scribe and Ophthalmic Technician at Eye Care Specialists of Florida. In 2020, they were a Medical Scribe and Patient Care Advocate at Advance Family Practice and in 2021, they were a Medical Scribe and Care Coordinator at Forward. Finally, in 2022, they became a Chemistry and Math Tutor at ClassUp and in 2023, they are currently a Science Tutor at Parliament Tutors.
Krishna Bhakta has a diverse educational background. Krishna obtained their High School Diploma from MOC-Floyd Valley High School in 2015. Krishna then attended Northwest Iowa Community College from 2013 to 2015. Subsequently, they earned a Nutritional Sciences degree from the University of Florida in 2019. In 2020, they obtained a Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences from Bluefield University. Currently, Krishna is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Medical Physiology from the University of Florida College of Medicine. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in CITI Certified, Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), and CPR from the CITI Program and University of Florida, respectively.
