Joseph Thomas has worked in the medical field since 2012, when they began as a Medical Student at Ross University School of Medicine. In 2016, they became a Medical Doctor at the same institution. In 2017, they began work as a Medical Doctor at Phoebe Putney Health System. In 2022, they will begin work as a Medical Doctor at both Forward and MeMD. Additionally, Joseph has worked as a Photographer at Stock Photography since 2014.

Joseph Thomas began their education in 2008 at Oakwood College, where they studied Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Joseph then attended Southern Adventist University from 2010 to 2012, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. In 2012, Joseph began their Doctor of Medicine studies at Ross University School of Medicine, graduating in 2016.
