Heather Stuart is the current Chief Executive at FIFE CULTURAL TRUST. Prior to their current position, they were the Head of Cultural and Community Services at Perth and Kinross Council from October 2008 to July 2012. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic direction of the Council's community engagement strategy, as well as the delivery of 4 new public libraries. Heather has also held positions at Love Oor Lang Toun, Community Leisure UK, and Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

Heather Stuart has a background in strategic leadership and management through executive coaching from the Institute of Leadership and Management. Heather also has a BA in Commerce (Hons) from Edinburgh Napier University. Her early education took place at Kirkcaldy High School and Capshard Primary School.
