Thao Nguyen's work experience includes a position as Vice President of Advocacy and Community Engagement at Feeding America since June 2016. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Outreach at the National Women's Law Center from August 2008 to June 2016. Thao also served as the Policy and Advocacy Coordinator at The Women's Collective from May 2007 to August 2008. Thao has experience as a Campaign Coordinator at the Earth Resource Foundation from September 2004 to August 2005, and as an ESL Teacher for the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program from July 2002 to July 2004. Additionally, they worked as a Program Coordinator at the Earth Resource Foundation from August 2001 to July 2002, and as an Organizing Fellow at UCLA Labor from June 2001 to August 2001.

Thao Nguyen holds a BA in English from UC Irvine and is currently pursuing an MA in International and Comparative Legal Studies from SOAS University of London.
