Oliver Wing has work experience in two companies: Fathom and the University of Bristol. At Fathom, they held the positions of Chief Research Officer from April 2020 to present and Flood Risk Scientist from June 2016 to April 2020. At the University of Bristol, they served as an Honorary Research Fellow starting from April 2020 and is currently holding the position. Oliver was also a Research Associate at the University of Bristol from September 2019 to April 2020.

Oliver Wing pursued their education at the University of Bristol, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geography from 2013 to 2016. Oliver continued their academic journey at the same university, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Geography from 2016 to 2019.
