Rahul Modi has had a diverse and extensive career in the field of technology and life sciences. In 2011, they began their professional career as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they studied environmental radioactivity and the electromagnetic spectrum. That same year, they also worked as a Researcher at the Photonics Center at Boston University, where they designed a novel biosensing technique to measure antibody growth. Additionally, they worked as an Analyst at the Boston University Office of Technology Development, helping to commercialize value-driven solutions in technology, healthcare, engineering, and life sciences. In 2012, they were a Product Development Engineer at Clover Medical, a boutique consultancy with decades of experience in the industry. In 2013, Rahul was the Director of Global Growth at EyeNetra, where they oversaw 340+ product iterations during research and development, 19+ scientific studies and publications, and 4+ products launched, manufactured, and commercialized. Before this, in 2010, they worked as a Product Developer at the Boston Medical Center, where they helped develop a novel anesthesiology technology. Finally, in 2004, they founded their own part-time professional Disc Jockey business, Dj MoDi Productions, which helped finance portions of their high school and college education.
Rahul Modi attended Saint John's High School from 2004 to 2008. In 2006 and 2007, they also attended Shishu Bharati School of Indian Language & Culture. Rahul then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from 2008 to 2012 at Boston University.
