Aderajew Shumet Tamirat (PhD) currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Development Bank of Ethiopia since September 2022 and as the State-Owned Enterprises Reform Program Manager for Expertise France since April 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company, a Researcher and Lecturer at Maastricht University, and an Independent Consultant for the Ethiopian Ministry of Industry. Aderajew has held various academic positions at Adama Science and Technology University, including Senior Lecturer, Ethics Liaison Officer, and Head of the Department of Banking and Insurance. Aderajew's consultancy experience encompasses advising the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Office of the Prime Minister-Ethiopia and working with UNIDO. Aderajew holds a PhD in Finance, Econometrics, and Monetary Economics from Maastricht University and multiple degrees in Management, Economics, and Business Administration from Wageningen University & Research and Adama Science and Technology University.
