Alex Pew has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. In 2012, Alex participated in the Drexel Mini-Med Program at Hahnemann University Hospital. In 2013, Alex worked as a Tutor for After School Kids Ltd (A.S.K.). In 2014, Alex worked as a Cashier for Downbeach Deli. In 2015, Alex worked as a Research and Development Intern for Ashoka. In 2016, Alex worked as a Political and Voter Protection Intern for the Democratic Party of Virginia, a Health Research and Policy Intern for JDRF International, a Teaching Assistant and Peer Mentor for Georgetown University. In 2017, Alex worked as a Research and Administrative Assistant for the National Center for Health Research. In 2019, Alex worked as a Health Policy Research Intern for the Nuffield Trust. In 2020, Alex worked as an Operations Manager, Strategy & Operations Coordinator, and Strategy Consultant for Elephant Healthcare, where they led internal coordination of efforts between Elephant’s business development, operations and product teams, assisted in the development of research and implementation assessment strategies, and drove the product prioritization strategy according to the public health needs of new markets.
