Rui Ferraro Vaz is an experienced professional in telecommunications and network implementation, currently serving as the Project and Network Implementation Director at DST group since May 2012. Rui has led significant projects, including the implementation of a 9,000 Km optical fibre cable network for rural areas. In addition to this role, Rui has been a trainer at Triformis since January 2012, providing vocational training in telecommunications. As an associate at Ferraro Vaz - Engenharia Lda, Rui specializes in project planning and technical advice for electrical installations and telecommunications. Previous experience includes consulting for Redtel and Optimus on FTTH networks, heading the cable TV department at Telejás, and collaborating on VoIP projects at INESC Porto. Rui holds a Master's degree in Communication Networks and Services and a Licenciatura in Electrical and Computers Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
