Job Title: Refrigeration Service Technician

FLSA Status:Â Non-Â Exempt (Eligible for Overtime)
Location:Â Louisville, CO
Wage: $40.00- $52.00/hour (Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Salary may be adjusted depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate)

OVERVIEW:Â Design Mechanical serves customers in the retail, commercial, food service, educational, healthcare, and industrial markets.
Refrigeration Service Technician Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring safe, dependable and energy-efficient operation of cooling systems. They work on various systems, including Large commercial walk in-coolers, Rack systems, freezers, ice machines and other equipment using refrigeration technology.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ experience within the Commercial Refrigeration industry
The responsibilities of this role often involve heavy lifting, climbing, bending and working in uncomfortable positions for extended periods.
Experience in the service, maintenance, and retrofits of Ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred.
Physical stamina and strength form an essential part of a refrigeration technician's skill set.
Working knowledge of reciprocating, screw compressors, electrical troubleshooting, common types of industrial refrigeration, and/or gas compression experience
Industrial HVAC/R mechanical, electrical, and control system troubleshooting
Industrial HVAC/R project management experience
Familiarity with single systems and rack systems along with previous work on display cases and walk-in boxes is extremely helpful.
Experience with Ammonia Systems is plus!
Excellent written & verbal communication/presentation skills
Experience with mentorship and training programs in a technical capacity.
Computer literacy [Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook]
