Reports To: Service Manager 

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, (eligible for OT) 

Location: Louisville, CO 

Wage Range: $35-55/Hourly

We are adding to our Service Department and are hiring an HVAC/R Technician. We're looking for candidates with 3+ years of experience working in Commercial HVAC applications. The HVAC/R Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC/R systems utilizing their knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing, and mechanical layouts. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems.

  • Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes, or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.

  • Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.

  • Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.

  • Keeps current on all manufacturers’ products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.

  • Provide technical support to customers.

  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

  • 3+ years’ experience as an HVAC/R Technician
  • Boiler and Chillers experience
  • RTU Install and Service
  • Split System AC and Furnace Install and Service
  • Valid CO Driver’s License and Clear MVR
  • Current EPA License
  • Can successfully pass a criminal background check, drug test, and physical ensuring you can perform the duties of the job.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to be a team player and possess leadership qualities.
