Giacomo Mason is a Senior Data Scientist at Deliveroo, focused on maintaining and enhancing the company's experimentation infrastructure since March 2022. Prior to this role, Giacomo worked as a Data Scientist at the Competition and Markets Authority from April 2019 to February 2022, and served as an Economics PhD student and Post Graduate Teaching Assistant at University College London, where an Excellence in Teaching award was received in 2014/2015. Additional experience includes research roles at the Institute For Fiscal Studies and IRVAPP, a research fellowship in nephrology at the International Renal Research Institute of Vicenza, and private tutoring in economics. Giacomo holds a PhD in Economics and a Master of Research from University College London, as well as a Master of Science in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from Università degli Studi di Padova.
