Emily Cohler has over ten years of experience in the Information Technology field. In 2011, they began their career as a Manager/Technician at Fairfield University Information Technology Services. In 2013, they joined oneTesla as an Operations Manager. In 2014, they became a Customer Support Analyst I at Experian Data Quality. In 2015, they began working at Trinity Partners as a Desktop Support Specialist. In 2017, they joined BeyondTrust as a Client Systems Administrator and Client Systems Engineer. In 2022, they began working at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant, Cyber and Strategic Risk. Emily is currently employed at Curology as a Senior IAM DevOps Engineer. During their time at Deloitte, Emily designed an Identity and Access Management solution integrating Okta and SailPoint for a large client. Emily also made recommendations to the client on how to enhance their current Okta deployment to improve scalability and security and reduce administrative overhead. Additionally, they created effective presentations to convey the technical and functional design of the IAM solution to a broad audience within the client organization. At BeyondTrust, Emily administered IAM systems including Duo MFA and Okta SSO. Emily also implemented SAML and OIDC authentication via Okta SSO for all eligible applications used within the company, integrating approximately 3 applications per week with Okta. Emily also implemented Lifecycle Management in Okta to automate provisioning and de-provisioning of accounts and Okta Workflows to automate repetitive IT tasks.

Emily Cohler has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government, Information Systems, and Asian Studies from Fairfield University, which they obtained between 2010 and 2014. Emily has also obtained several certifications, including Learn JavaScript Course from Codecademy in September 2022, MS-100 Microsoft 365 Identity and Services from Microsoft in August 2021, CompTIA CySA+ ce Certification from CompTIA in October 2022, Automation Pro I and Automation Pro II from Workato in January 2023, Okta Certified Consultant from Okta in July 2022, Okta Certified Administrator from Okta in May 2022, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate from Microsoft in January 2020, and Okta Certified Professional from Okta, Inc. in December 2020.
