Vicente Vargas is a Deputy Sheriff at the Clay County Sheriff's Office since December 2022, bringing a diverse background in law enforcement and safety management. Prior experience includes serving as a Safety Director at Coreslab Structures and a brief tenure as a Police Officer with the Kansas City Missouri Police Department. Vicente has experience in manufacturing as a Warehouse employee at Wyco Manufacturing Company and in security as a Security Supervisor at Worlds of Fun, where responsibilities included protecting property and managing staff. Earlier roles also include food service at Zarda Bar-B-Q. Vicente holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Missouri and is a Kauffman Scholar.
