Meghan Nayak currently serves as Associate Director at the Vera Institute of Justice, having progressed through various roles including Program Manager and Senior Program Associate since March 2021. Prior experience includes litigation and policy roles at Fair and Prosecution from April 2018 to March 2021, and serving as Assistant Deputy Public Defender at the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender from September 2011 to April 2018. Meghan Nayak holds a Juris Doctor degree in Criminal Law and Procedure from Cardozo School of Law (2010), a Master of Science in Criminology from the University of Pennsylvania (2006), and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Sociology from New York University (2005).
