Minu Sonali, MPH, is a dedicated public health professional with extensive experience in community health work. Currently serving as a Community Health Worker Specialist for the City of Berkeley since January 2023, Minu previously held a position as Community Health Worker II at Contra Costa Health Services from March 2020 to December 2022, where responsibilities included managing Confidential Morbidity Reports for gonorrhea patients and coordinating with medical providers. Prior to that, Minu contributed as an Oncology Patient Navigator at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center & Health Centers, where assistance in data entry for COVID-19 testing was provided. Minu's early career included internships focused on health education and community advocacy at Kaiser Permanente and Stanford Prevention Research Center, respectively. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Health from San Jose State University, obtained in August 2022, along with a Bachelor of Health Science achieved in 2017.
