Kimberly Otis, SHRM-SCP, is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Principal People Partner for Product at Chime since October 2024, Kimberly has also founded KLO Events, a full-service event planning and design company in the San Francisco Bay Area, since November 2010. Previous roles include Senior Manager of HR Business Partner at Checkr, where strategic HR initiatives were driven in partnership with senior engineering and product leaders, and People Partner Lead at Turnitin, alongside impactful positions at Turo, GitHub, and Zendesk, where pioneering global mobility programs and HR strategies were implemented. Kimberly began the HR career as a Human Resources Specialist at Morrison & Foerster LLP and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from San Francisco State University.
