Nicolette Hall

Head: Product Innovation & Integrity at Cavalier Group

Nicolette Hall has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Lecturer at the University of Pretoria. In 2007, they also began working as a Research Consultant at HCS Health Communication Service, where they stayed until 2017. During this time, they also served as a Consultant for the SAMPRO Consumer Education Campaign from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they joined the Red Meat Industry in South Africa as part of Lamb & Mutton South Africa, where they worked until 2016. From 2010 to 2017, they worked as a Research Consultant at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. In 2017, they joined the Cavalier Group as a Senior Product & Process Control Technologist, a role they held until 2018. Nicolette then served as the Quality Manager from 2018 to 2019 before assuming their current position as Head of Product Innovation & Integrity.

Nicolette Hall began their education at Hoerskool Outeniqua from 1997 to 2001. Nicolette then attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Foods, Nutrition, and Related Services. This was followed by a one-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Honours) program in Food Science in 2006. Continuing their studies at the same university, Nicolette obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Human Nutrition from 2008 to 2010. Nicolette further pursued their education at the University of Pretoria, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Nutrition from 2010 to 2015.
