Claudio Bieri has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. From 1990 to 1995, they worked as a Hotelfachschullehrer at Centre International de Glion. In 1995, they joined Candrian Catering AG, where they held multiple roles throughout their tenure. Claudio started as Betriebsdirektor/Human Resources and was responsible for over 25 sales outlets with an annual turnover of CHF 60 million. Claudio also led the Human Resources department, including payroll, training, and properties. In 2011, they became the CEO & Delegierter des Verwaltungsrates, overseeing the entire company. Later, they took on the role of Chief Operating Officer, responsible for 20 sales outlets, brands like Burger King and Nordsee, and various other concepts with an annual turnover of CHF 70 million and 400 employees in Zurich. As a whole, the company had a turnover of CHF 130 million and 750 employees.
Claudio Bieri has a diverse education history. In 1982-1986, they obtained a Diploma d'études techniques en hôtellerie et restauration from EHL. In 1994, they received a Leadership and Motivation Certificate from Cornell University. In 1998-2000, they pursued Managementweiterbildung from the wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Fakultät at the University of Zurich. In 2002, they completed an International Senior Management Programm from St. Galler Business School. In 2007-2009, they furthered their education at IAP Zürich/ZHAW Winterthur and earned a Master of Advanced Studies ZHF in Leadership und Management. Lastly, in 2016, they obtained a Zertifikat St. Galler Business School in Hochleistungsorganisation - World Class Company.
