Drew Salvatore has extensive work experience in the food industry. Drew started their career with an internship at Meredith Corporation in 2008. Drew then worked as a research assistant and assistant editor at New Jersey Monthly Magazine from 2009 to 2011. Drew joined Reader's Digest Association as an editorial assistant from 2011 to 2014. Drew then worked as a freelance writer, recipe editor, and assistant food stylist from 2013 to 2015. Drew also worked as a kitchen assistant at Hudson Table from 2015 to 2018. Drew joined Hearst Magazines in 2015 and held roles as associate food editor at Woman's Day and later as senior food editor in the Hearst Lifestyle Food Group until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, Drew worked as a recipe editor at Food Network. Currently, they are the director of food editorial at Calibrate, where they started in November 2021 and was later promoted to senior director of content and program content strategy in July 2023.
Drew Salvatore has a BA in Journalism and French from Washington and Lee University. Additionally, in 2013, they completed a program in Culinary Techniques at the International Culinary Center. Drew also participated in a Study Abroad program at Université Paris-Sorbonne, although the specific time period is not provided.
