Brian Upton has extensive experience in both non-profit leadership and communications, currently serving as the Executive Director of Building Hope in the City since January 2001, after a tenure as Assistant Executive Director. Prior to this role, Brian Upton worked at Trinity Lutheran Church - Cleveland from January 1999 to November 2018 as a Deacon and Pastoral Assistant. Additional professional experience includes positions as Senior Account Executive at Akhia and Account Executive at Edward Howard, along with an earlier role as Assistant Account Executive at MHW Advertising & Public Relations. Brian Upton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Kent State University, having previously attended Lutheran High School West.
