Akshata Nayak is an experienced professional with a robust background in holistic nutrition and small business ownership. As the Founder of Little Patakha since April 2020, Akshata has been instrumental in driving the company's vision. Simultaneously, Akshata serves as a Core Counselor at the Center for Women & Enterprise and pursues a long-term role as an Applied Clinical Nutritionist at Alternative Roots Wellness Center, focusing on addressing underlying health issues through nutritional understanding. Previous experience includes owning The Orange Owl, an eco-friendly skincare business, and working as a Laboratory Technician at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where research focused on brain injuries. Akshata holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maine and a Master's in Applied Clinical Nutrition from Northeast College of Health Sciences.
