Alison Sanford, DGSA (ADR/IATA), has extensive experience in logistics and export documentation, currently serving as the Acting Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor at British American Tobacco (BAT) since April 2014, where support in compliance and safety for Dangerous Goods movement is provided. Previous roles at BAT include Export Manager and Export Team Lead, with strong involvement in processing export requests. Prior to BAT, experience includes positions at Meachers Global Logistics and Oast Agencies as a Documentary Credit Specialist. An early career at HSBC Bank plc included roles as Branch Training Officer and Import/Export Supervisor, focusing on training staff in various import and export processes. Education includes O & A Levels from Weston-Super-Mare College and NNEB from Eastleigh College.
