Haritina Mogoșanu is an experienced professional with a diverse background in science communication, education, and biosecurity. As Co-Founder and Director of Milky Way Kiwi since February 2018 and Learning Facilitator at Field-basedSTEM since March 2022, Haritina focuses on enhancing educational experiences for teachers through hands-on collaborations with scientists. In addition, Haritina holds an affiliated research scientist position at the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science. Previous roles include Senior Adviser at the Ministry for Primary Industries, Senior Science Communicator at Space Place at Carter Observatory, and various positions at Carter Observatory, demonstrating a strong commitment to public engagement in science. Haritina's educational background includes a Master’s Degree from Massey University and the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, as well as a visiting student experience at Imperial College London.
