Ruan Gräbe is a skilled Data Scientist currently employed at IABG since May 2023, with previous experience as a Research Associate at Technische Universität Berlin where development of an open-source Java-based traffic simulation framework, MATSim, was a key responsibility. Ruan served as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Pretoria from January 2020 to January 2022, coordinating various bachelor modules and supervising final-year students in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Prior internship experiences include data analytics at Fourier-E, focusing on store and sales data, and website testing with the Edu-TOOL SRS System Module at Magna BC. Ruan holds a Master of Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering, an Honours degree in Industrial Engineering, and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, all from the University of Pretoria.
