Scott Donelson has over 9 years of experience in project management, bids and proposals management, and affiliate digital marketing. Scott started their career as an intern in the US House of Representatives, where they assisted the Rules Committee Congressional Members and staff in the maintenance of daily operations in the Capitol. Later, they worked as a proposal writer and manager in Red Gate Group, where they authored content for company website and marketing materials, edited responses for all company proposals, created win themes, hot buttons, ghosting, and features/benefits graphics to bolster Red Gate messaging, and managed client profiles to capture performance information. Scott also worked as a Segment Lead for Affiliates Digital Marketing Team in Capital One, where they managed the execution and timing of product updates, identified risks and paths forward for the execution of business intent, and partnered with Marketing & Analysis, Card Marketing Managers, Segments, Digital, Marketing Content Managers, External Production Vendors, and fellow Operations Intent Leads to align cross-functional teams. In ChemImage Corporation, they worked as a project and bids/proposals manager and managed and coordinated with business development professionals, program managers, and technical experts to create over 42 unique marketing products intended for diverse audiences. In their most recent work experience, they worked as a proposal manager in RP Professional Services, where they managed and coordinated with business development professionals, program managers, technical experts, proposal writers, and graphics specialists to create over 40 unique marketing products intended for diverse audiences. Currently, they are working as a project manager in Astrobotic.
Scott Donelson received a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from William & Mary. In 2012, they obtained a certification in Proposal Management from Shipley Associates. In 2022, they obtained a certification in Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® from Project Management Institute.
