Wakeel Ahmad is a seasoned corrosion engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Team Lead Corrosion Engineer at Saudi Aramco since October 2013, Wakeel Ahmad provides expert advice and technical support on corrosion control activities and conducts failure investigations. Prior to this role, Wakeel Ahmad worked as Lead Materials Engineer at GE Oil & Gas from October 2010 to October 2013, focusing on material compatibility assessments and the review of various engineering procedures. Wakeel Ahmad began their career as a Metallurgist at Doosan Power Systems Arabia from October 2007 to October 2010, handling welding and fabrication queries in accordance with industry standards. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Advanced Metallurgy from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
