Payam Tabrizi, PE, is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Baker Hughes since April 2023, Tabrizi previously held the role of Engineering Manager and Systems Architect at ALTUS Intervention from April 2015 to April 2023, where responsibilities included developing wireline tractor conveyance system architecture and electronics, as well as integrating systems with third-party tools. Prior to ALTUS, Tabrizi worked at Schlumberger from June 2006 to March 2015, progressing from Wireline Field Engineer to Senior Electrical Design Engineer, where significant contributions included designing the next-generation Logging While Drilling (LWD) Nuclear Magnetic Resonance tool and improving manufacturing processes for wireline tools. Tabrizi holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
