Christina Licalsi

Principal Researcher at American Institutes for Research

Christina LiCalsi started their career in 2005 as a Research Analyst at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago. Christina then joined Northwestern University in 2008 as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Policy Research. In 2014, they transitioned to the American Institutes for Research where they worked as a Senior Researcher until 2019, when they became a Principal Researcher specializing in social and education policy research and evaluation.

Christina LiCalsi completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University, from 1996 to 2000. Christina then pursued further education at the University of Chicago, where they obtained a dual degree in Public Policy and Social Service Administration, with an MPP/MA, from 2002 to 2005. Finally, they attended Northwestern University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Human Development and Social Policy from 2008 to 2014.
