Charlie Whitaker is an experienced legal and human resources professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer at Altria since 2002. Prior to this role, Charlie worked as a Labor and Employment Lawyer at Hunton & Williams LLP from 1996 to 2002. Charlie earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from the University of Virginia, completing the former in 1993 and the latter in 1988.
