Larry Dearman

Larry Dearman has extensive work experience in various roles within the manufacturing industry. Larry most recently served as the Vice President of Operations at Alliance Machine Systems International, LLC, starting in 2019.

Prior to this, Larry worked at Kaiser Aluminum for several years in various managerial roles. Larry was the Plant Manager from 2003 to 2018, overseeing plant operations, production, maintenance, and quality at two locations with approximately 950 employees. Larry implemented strategies to reduce costs, improve recovery and product capability, and increase capacity. Larry also worked as the Manufacturing Manager at the Trentwood Facility from 2013 to 2015, where they focused on minimizing manufacturing costs and ensuring product standards exceeded customer expectations. Larry also served as the Operations Manager - Plate Flow from 2006 to 2013, managing casting, hot rolling, plate, and sheet and coil finishing departments.

Larry also gained experience at Agilent Technologies, where they served as the Plant Process Engineering and Maintenance Manager from 2002 to 2003. Larry managed the printed circuit assembly shop process engineering department during divestiture activities and facilitated optimization teams to increase capacity and sustain product quality.

At Kaiser Aluminum, Larry held roles such as Heat Treat Production Manager and Predictive Maintenance Manager, where they implemented continuous improvement processes, improvement in capacity, and established maintenance management systems.

Prior to their time at Kaiser Aluminum, Larry worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Barrick Gold Corporation and Naval Energy and Environment Support Activity (NEESA).

Overall, Larry Dearman has a wealth of experience in plant operations, manufacturing, process engineering, and maintenance management, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, cost reduction, and achieving business objectives.

Larry Dearman has a diverse education history. In 1986, they started their undergraduate studies at the University of the Pacific, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Larry completed their degree in 1990.

After working in the field for several years, Larry returned to school in 2015 and attended Gonzaga University. Larry pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Organizational Leadership and completed their studies in 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Larry has also obtained additional certifications. In 2010, they achieved a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from BMGI. Larry has also obtained a certification in Lean Manufacturing for Managers, which was offered by The Ohio State University.
