Racheal Ume has extensive experience in the travel and airline industry, currently serving as the Manager of Agency & Interline at Air Niugini since November 2010. In this role, Racheal manages Agency Affairs, including Passenger General Sales Agents and Interline agreements with other airlines. Previous positions include Agency & Interline Officer and Administration Assistant, where responsibilities ranged from assisting new travel agents to managing staff travel reservations. Racheal also contributed to the National Control Centre Travel Desk during the COVID-19 pandemic, facilitating travel approvals into Papua New Guinea. Educational qualifications include diplomas from the IATA Training and Development Institute in travel and tourism management, alongside a certificate in accounting and a higher school certificate from Port Moresby National High School.
