Finance Business Systems Analyst

About the Role:Ìý

Ooma is looking for a Finance Business Systems Analyst to join the team. This individual will be responsible for managing all systems and applications used by the Accounting and Finance Team. This role will also be responsible for facilitating the documentation of business requirements, and collaboratively designing a solution for workflow, usability, and component and data integration. This role will work closely with stakeholders across the business line to ensure the IT systems and applications meet their needs and expectations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Investigate and document business requirements from business partners to facilitate discussions and conduct workflow analyses. Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications.
  • Gather and document business requirements from internal clients.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs.
  • Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Identify the inter-dependencies of complex projects across domains. Requires leading, communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensures solutions are tested/validated sufficiently before being implemented in production.
  • Works with the business partners to ensure process and system changes are communicated clearly and that users are informed and/or trained sufficiently
  • Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications.
  • Ensure all IT systems and applications are SOX compliant and audit ready.
  • Engage in process walkthroughs, develop narratives, and maintain comprehensive policy documentation.
  • Work with external auditors to support attestations and testing as required to achieve compliance.
  • Conduct regular control testing, documenting procedures, results, and remediation actions.Ìý

Experience We’re Looking For:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the SAAS industry is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and working experience in SOX requirements.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Billing Systems, Business Intelligence is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, or other comparable tools for data analysis and presentation.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent. #LI-OP1

The base salary range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is listed below. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, specific location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Regular employees may also be eligible for bonus(es), sales incentive(s) (target included in OTE) and/or stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

$150,000—$170,000 USD
