Dennis Della Corte

Chief Science Officer at ZONTAL

Dennis Della Corte has a wealth of experience in research, science, and project management. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Utah, where they were responsible for the Characterization of the Willard L. Eccles Observatory in Milford Utah. From 2012 to 2016, they were a PhD Candidate at Forschungszentrum Jülich. In 2016, they joined Bayer Business Services as a Junior Project Manager, and was promoted to Senior Project Manager in 2018. Dennis was responsible for the Roll Out of Global eArchiving Platform for Bayer AG, steering of cross divisional and functional activities in role of global program lead, and management of multiple external partners and internal teams to build and roll out a new enterprise standard for archival of electronic data. In 2018, they also became the Director Consortium of Molecular Design at Brigham Young University, where they head an interdisciplinary consortium with the goal of building a leading center of molecular design. Dennis also serves as an Assistant Professor of Physics, where their group focuses on in-silico design of small molecules, peptides and proteins. In 2019, they joined ZONTAL as Chief Science Officer, where they lead the research and science division and is responsible for research, business development, and partner management. Dennis is also the Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of Sales & Marketing, where they are responsible for the marketing and sales activities at ZONTAL.

Dennis Della Corte's education history includes completing an Abitur at Märkisches Gymnasium Hamm in 2006, a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Physics at TU Dortmund University in 2011, a Master of Science in Medical Physics at University of Düsseldorf in 2016, a Master of Science - MS in Biomedical Engineering at Aachen University of Applied Sciences - FH Aachen in 2017, and a PhD in Medical Physics, Biophysics at Forschungszentrum Jülich in 2015. Dennis also completed a Computational Biophysics program at Stanford University in 2014. Additionally, Dennis Della Corte has obtained various certifications from Coursera and edX, including Project Manager from Bayer Project Management Academie in 2016.
