Vanessa Kargenian is a seasoned professional in research and policy analysis, currently serving as the Director of Research at Fidelity Investments' Fidelity Center for Applied Technology since May 2020. Prior to this role, Vanessa worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from July 2013 to May 2020, holding positions as an IT/Cybersecurity Risk Examiner and FinTech Policy Advisor, as well as a Supervisory Development Assistant Examiner. Vanessa's early career includes experience as a Financial Analyst at Apple Inc. from February 2009 to July 2011. Vanessa holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.
