Jake Armstrong has a diverse work experience ranging from geotechnical laboratory technician to head of information technology. Jake started their career at Landmark Engineering Co. in 2009 as a geotechnical laboratory technician and then moved on to work at various companies such as Applied Geotech, Reid-Ashman Mfg., Great Harvest Bread Co., and ADOT in different roles. In 2013, they joined Wilson Electronics as a tech support and later became an I.T. supervisor and project manager. In 2015, they worked as a systems administrator at Dixie State University. From 2018 to 2021, they served as a systems engineer at SkyWest Airlines. Currently, they are employed at Zonos as a DevOps engineer and was recently promoted to the position of head of information technology in September 2022.
Jake Armstrong earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Digital Forensics from Utah Tech University, where they attended from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Pre-Engineering from the same university, attending from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Jake has obtained several certifications including Full Stack Web Development from freeCodeCamp in 2017, AccessData Certified Examiner and AccessData Mobile Examiner from AccessData in April 2013, and Computer Forensics from Dixie State University in 2013.
