Dong Sun is a highly experienced Principal Scientist at Zoetis, where work has centered on cross protection of heterologous PRRS virus strains and swine influenza surveillance studies since August 2014. Prior to this role, Dong Sun served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Research Assistant at Iowa State University from August 2007 to August 2014. Additionally, a brief tenure as a Teaching Assistant occurred at China Agricultural University in 2006. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Veterinary Microbiology and Preventive Medicine from Iowa State University, an MS in Preventive Veterinary Medicine from China Agricultural University, and a DVM in Veterinary Medicine from the same institution.
