Piotr Konopka serves as Group Vice President of Decarbonisation & Energy Programmes at DP World, leading initiatives aimed at achieving net-zero carbon operations by 2050, while also managing technical strategies on sustainable fuels and climate resilience. Concurrently, Piotr is the Group Director at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, facilitating the transition towards a net-zero maritime industry. Previous experience includes managing energy transition projects at Guidehouse, co-founding PitchMe.co to bridge gaps in skills-based recruiting, and conducting studies on energy technologies at ERM. Piotr holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London, a Master of Engineering in Automotive Engineering from the University of Bath, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at Edinburgh Business School.
