Shima Bab Hadiashar, PhD, is a Senior Quantum Application Scientist at Zapata AI, where contributions have been made since August 2021. Previously, Shima held various roles at the Institute for Quantum Computing from August 2014 to December 2020, including Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, focusing on quantum information theory, quantum Shannon theory, and quantum machine learning. As a Research Associate, research was conducted on entanglement and quantum communication protocols. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Combinatorics and Optimization (Quantum Information) and a Master of Math from the University of Waterloo, along with dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering and Physics from Isfahan University of Technology. A summer internship at Behrad Consulting Engineers was completed in June 2009.
