Donna Connelly has a diverse work experience, spanning various roles and industries. Donna began their career at the YWCA Columbus in 2007, where they served as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer and Technology Coordinator. In this role, they were responsible for assisting with reports, budgets, and proposals, as well as organizing the distribution of internal and external reports. Additionally, they established and maintained a record-keeping system for the Finance Department.

In 2011, Donna joined the Capital Area Humane Society as an Animal Care Attendant. Their duties included creating a clean and nurturing environment for adoptable animals, attending to their needs through cleaning, feeding, and socialization.

Donna was the primary secretary for the building principal, providing administrative support, assisting the guidance counselor with student course scheduling and recording grades, and handling correspondence for various staff members.

Donna Connelly attended Independence High School from 1975 to 1978, where they completed the College Prep Program. Following their high school education, they enrolled at Capital University from 1978 to 1982. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
