Rolando Schmidt is the Group Chief Financial Officer of Pro Mujer, a consortium dedicated to providing financial, health, and educational services to low-income women in Latin America, since February 2020. Prior to this role, Rolando acted as the Interim General Manager at Club Alemán en Buenos Aires and served as General Manager at Goethe Schule, overseeing operations for 1,500 students and a yearly turnover of $9 million. From 2011 to 2016, Rolando operated as the Regional CFO for Latin America at F.H. Bertling Logistics, managing finance and corporate affairs across multiple countries. Previous experiences include serving as CFO for MAN Energy Solutions in Argentina and Chile, as well as leading the Shared Services Center for Lufthansa AG in the Americas. Rolando began a career in 1987 with Lufthansa, progressing through various positions until becoming General Manager of Corporate Controlling & Finance for Lufthansa Cargo in India. Education includes a degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires and a diploma in Corporate Finance from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
