Luis Antonio Foncerrada Pascal serves as the Chief Economist at the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico since January 2019 and holds several significant positions, including Chair of the Board of Directors at YouthBuild México and a member of the Board of Directors at CENTRO MARIO MOLINA. Previously, Luis led the School of Business and Economics at Universidad Anáhuac Mayab until December 2022 and was the Director General of CEESP from August 2008 to July 2018, where the focus was on economic research and public policy. Luis has also held prominent roles within the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and was Mexico’s General Consul in Milan, promoting investments and trade agreements. Luis's educational background includes advanced degrees in Economics from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas, as well as a fellowship at Princeton University.
