Colleen Kelly, CNP has a long and varied work experience. Colleen began their career in 2005 as a Public Relations Associate with the Mahoning County Board of Elections, where they were responsible for training poll workers, programming voting machines, and handling all clerical duties. In 2009, they took on the role of Marketing Intern at Meridian Services, where they were responsible for soliciting vendors for a fundraiser and managing the vendor area at the event. In 2011, they were promoted to Campaign Resource Associate at UNITED WAY, where they were responsible for preparing and delivering presentations, building relationships with donors, and managing all administrative activities. Finally, in 2012, they took on the role of Director of Development at Youngstown Business Incubator, where they directed and oversaw the implementation of fundraising plans and programs, managed donor records, and represented the organization at community events.

Colleen Kelly, CNP has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Youngstown State University, where they also majored in Communications and minored in Nonprofit. Colleen attended Canfield. In February 2016, Colleen obtained their Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. In January 2017, they obtained their Veritus Major Gifts Fundraiser Certification. Colleen is also working towards their American Humanics Certification.
