Marium Uddin

Marium Uddin is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in youth violence intervention and community development. Currently serving as Programme Lead and Youth Violence Programme Manager at Young Westminster Foundation since March 2022, Marium focuses on capacity building and collaboration through the Serious Youth Violence Community Network. Notable achievements include developing the Helping Hands Programme, which empowers communities in North Westminster to create innovative opportunities informed by young people and community voices. Other positions held include Trustee at ESP Foundation, Youth Programme Coordinator at Al-manaar - The Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre, and Senior Youth Violence Intervention Practitioner at Redthread. Marium's career began at Fitzrovia Youth in Action, where multiple roles were undertaken, ultimately leading to impactful youth work with The Harrow Club. Marium holds a degree in Applied Social Science with an emphasis on Community Development and Youth Work from Goldsmiths, University of London.
