Jackie Roca has been working in Human Resources for over 25 years. Jackie started their career at Dresdner Bank Lateinamerika in 1989 and held various positions before becoming the Human Resources Director at YMCA of Great Miami in 2003. In their current role as VP of Human Resources at YMCA of South Florida, Jackie leads the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the department. Jackie has extensive experience in all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
Jackie Roca has an Associate's degree from Miami Dade College. Jackie also has certifications from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM Certified Professional), University of Miami (Human Resource Management), Florida International University (Human Resource Management), and Institute of Human Resource Management (PHR - Professional in Human Resources).
They work with Bill Arterburn - VP, Financial Operations, Gabriel Ochoa - SVP, Community Health Strategies, and Alison Bregman-Rodriguez - VP, Special Needs. Jackie Roca reports to Sheryl A. Woods, President & CEO.
