Justin Wilford has had a varied work experience over the past 16 years. In 2021, they became Co-Founder and Director of Content for Yes Collective. In 2020, they began working as an Emotional Health Coach for justinwilford.com. From 2012 to 2014, they were Co-Founder and Director of Program Development for MaxLove Project, 501 (c) 3. From 2014 to the present, they have been a University Lecturer and Research Staff for UC Irvine. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2012, they were a University Lecturer and Research Staff for University of California, Los Angeles.

Justin Wilford completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Public Health at UC Irvine from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Geography from the University of California, Los Angeles from 2005 to 2010.
