Whitney W. has a diverse work experience in various roles. Whitney currently works at Yellow Card App as a Product Owner, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Raise as a Product Owner from April 2021 to January 2023, and as a Technical Team Lead from July 2020 to March 2021. Before their time at Raise, they were an Associate Software Engineer at Andela from September 2016 to March 2020. Whitney started their career at Deveint Ltd, where they held two positions: Assistant Project Manager from January 2016 to August 2016, and Assistant Project Manager Intern from August 2015 to December 2015. During their time at Deveint Ltd, they managed teams to deliver various websites and mobile applications for notable clients.

Whitney W. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science from Kisii University, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications. These include the Agile Crash Course from Udemy, obtained in April 2023, as well as the Product Led Growth Micro-Certification and Product Analytics Micro-Certification from Product School, obtained in July 2022 and March 2022 respectively.
