Amber Farooqi's work experience begins in 2014 as an Article Assistant at PwC. During this time, they assisted multiple teams in conducting financial audits for large multinational corporations and was involved in implementing IFCFR controls for a leading Indian bank.
In 2017, Amber joined BDO as an Associate, where they participated in auditing banks, NBFCs, and investment banking companies. Their responsibilities included analyzing financial statements and interpreting management judgment and estimates. Amber then became a Senior Associate, gaining experience in auditing complex areas such as market-linked debentures for a leading NBFC client.
From 2019 to 2020, Amber worked at Logical Academy as a Visiting Professor, delivering lectures for a substantial batch size in the disciplines of Law, Audit, and Economics for B. Com and B. A. students.
Starting in 2018, Amber also served as a Professor at Ritu Commerce and CA Academy until 2021.
Currently, Amber is employed at 73 Strings as a Senior Associate - Product and Research. Amber previously held the role of Associate - Product and Research and also completed an internship trainee position at the same company.
Amber Farooqi earned a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics in 2015. From 2012 to 2017, they also attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India where they obtained a Chartered Accountant certification. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Business/Commerce, General from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, completing it in 2017.
